Two construction workers in safety gear operate a rock drill from an orange mechanical lift, surrounded by dust. They work on a rocky hillside, with machinery visible and trees in the background.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

North Cedar Street Landslide Repair

In 2011 a rock slide occurred along a cliff face east of N. Cedar St. behind the North Park Mall in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  Due to the slide one house on N. Cedar St. was abandoned and torn down.

FSGC was tasked with installing 176 Micropile Pins vertically from the top and 173 Tieback Anchors horizontally in the cliff face.  To retain the loose rock remaining on the face, over 10,000 SF of TECCO MESH high-tensile strength wire mesh was attached to the tieback anchors. The trench created when the hillside slid was filled with almost 700 cu-yd of cellular concrete.

FSGC is committed to safety, service, and excellence.  We look forward to partnering with you to design and build the best solutions for your project. Contact us today!
